Photograph of model home, Los Angeles, CA, 1928. "811-5-15 1928 Walter H. Leimert Leimert Park model home" -- on envelope. The photo was taken during the first Los Angeles small homes exposition, which took place in September 1928 in Leimert Park. According to an Los Angeles Times article from September 16, 1928, "the exposition consists of furnished and unfurnished dwellings, all embodying new ideas in construction, equipment, and furnishings". The exposition ran for several years, all in Leimert Park. See also DW-1928-89-27-147~10 .
