Description
A corporate magazine that promotes the Union Pacific's long history of growth and development. The magazine chronicles the successes of the Union Pacific Railroad and its employees. This magazine is an especially good piece on the portrayal of railroad propaganda due to its colorful images and empowered themes in favor of railway culture. It displays many key rhetorical concepts to appeal to a public pathos for the support of the Union Pacific. An interesting part of this magazine is the back cover which displays a story about Charles McGeeney, an American patriot, who dedicated his life to building the tracks for the Union Pacific Railway. Volume VI, Number 8 (July, 1974); Excellent Condition Publication partially scanned.
