Remains of Sage Land & Lumber Company sawmill at Willits, California. Burned Aug. 23, 1945. First started along line shaft, near noon and spread rapidly. In a few hours, mill was wrecked. Boiler house to right; mill to left; burner to rear center, sorting table paralleled roadway. 8/28/45. E. F
