Photograph caption dated May 4, 1957 reads, "H. T. Aust Jr., circulation manager of the Valley Times, takes inventory of the thousands of Junior Classics volumes recently delivered to the stockroom. The first volume which goes on sale today, is 'Robin Hood' and 'The Last of the Mohicans,' by James Fenimore Cooper. There are 12 magnificent volumes in all in this special cultural series sponsored by the Valley Times. The volumes are on display in all branch offices as well as the main North Hollywood office. Delivering the Classics is Clarence Tindell."
