Photograph of an exterior view of the Ortega adobe at the foot of Montecito Hill south of Santa Barbara, ca.1935. A two story building can be seen at center with a sloped roof and a covered balcony on the second story. Two doors and three windows are visible, while chairs can be seen on the balcony. Rocks enclose a garden of desert plants in front of the building, while tall trees can be seen at left and right.
