To the right, a man is standing on the tracks beside a rocky outcropping facing away from the camera. The track curves along the mountain wall towards the foreground at right. In the extreme background near the top of the image, a small, curved section of track can be seen near a very steep incline. On the photoprint above the track, the words "Circular Bridge" can be seen written backwards. Bottom of photoprint reads: "378 Great Circulal [Circular?] Bridge, Alpine Extension, Mt. Lowe Road".
