View shows the bookshelves against the walls and the round wooden tables and chairs used by patrons. Located at 2530 Workman St. in Lincoln Heights, the Renaissance style building was constructed with a $35,000 grant from Andrew Carnegie and was designed by the Hibbard & Cody.
