Description
A film about Charles "Chuck" Dressen, a baseball manager. It begins with Dressen's Brooklyn Dodgers losing to the New York Yankees in the 1953 Wold Series, then to Dressen moving to the Oakland Oaks and the opening day game in April 1954 against the Sacramento Solons at Edmonds Field, a 2-1 victory by the Oaks.
