Description
Plates in: Album of photographs, pg. 10. Shows dead young man laid out for viewing in funeral. Covered in satin coverlet, flowers in front, net curtain in background. 2009-3256. John Baldwin arrived in California by 1874. Was active as a photographer in several cities, including Sacramento. In Sacramento operated out of a gallery on J Street in the 1880's.
