Description
Photograph of a drawing of a Delta airliner in flight, ca.1960. At center, a large lightly-colored airliner is visible. Along its center, several small windows can be seen. The enormous wings are each marked with two darkly-colored stripes that mark where the engines lie. Small white lines have been drawn away from each engine to indicate that the plane is in flight. Each wing has two darkly-colored engines with the word "Delta" inscribed. Additionally, "Delta" is also seen near the pilot's cabin and on the tail of the plane. A small crown emblem is visible on the tail of the plane. In the extreme background, mountains and ocean are visible below the airliner.
