Photograph used for an article dated December 26, 1942, the day after Boyle Workman passed away.
Birthplace of Boyle Workman, the old family homestead, in what is now Boyle Heights, built on the east bluff of the Los Angeles River by Andrew A. Boyle, his grandfather. Workman was born here on September 20, 1868, when Los Angeles was still a pueblo.
