Photograph article dated December 28, 1961 partially reads, "A bird in the hand, Henry Cooper discovered Wednesday, is worth a trip up a power pole. The Van Nuys lineman scaled the 40-foot high-voltage power pole in Pacoima to rescue a pigeon that had fluttered helplessly for an hour, its leg caught between two-wires."
