Top of the Barron-Gray Packing Co. building showing the name of the cannery. On the reverse is the obituary for Alice S. Andrews (nee Alexandrina de Mello Andrade): Passed away Sunday May 18, 1997. Born in Lowell Massachusetts in 1898, Mrs. Andreww came by train to California in October 1919 to meet her husband who had preceded her. ...She worked at Barron Gray and Shaw Family canneries as a young woman. Later in life she ha da fourth child while living at the infamous McGlincy House in Campbell. She is the wife of the late M. J. Andrews whom she married in 1915...."
