Description
This is a letter written by Peter Drucker for Mel Hurni. He discusses how important writing the budget is for the future of the Operations Research and Synthesis program. Drucker believes Mel should use it as an opportunity to create better understanding of OR&S and less resistance from the executive office. For this reason, he emphasizes the presentation should focus on the achievements made and the needs that will be fulfilled. Drucker also thinks that the annual OR&S budget reports should bring to light "company-wide situations, opportunities and problems". This letter contains an original signature and a handwritten note beneath it that reads "dictated before our talk last Monday".
