Two men, one sitting in the grass, and one standing, with a telephone/telegraph pole in the background. de Forest has written, "Li [Huing] Chn & the Dowager Empress" next to the photograph. (de Forest's writing of the Chinese name is not legible). This appears to be part of the same series as the photographs of the America De Forest Wireless Telegraph Co. building, circa 1904 (2003-34-736m, o). From a Lee de Forest scrapbook (2003-34-736)
