Photograph caption dated September 23, 1959 reads, "Dogs for Mr. K - These two tiny Chihuahua puppies are about to get a shot from vet Dr. Victor H. Auston at his Van Nuys office, 14931 Oxnard St., in preparation for their trip to Washington, D.C., where they will become property of Nikita Khrushchev. Soviet Premier will, in turn, present pups to his two grandsons at wish of two Sherman Oaks boys, Gregg Lieb, 11, left, and brother Allan, 17."
