This photo was taken in Los Angeles New Chinatown during the testimonial dinner honoring U. S. Senator Hiram Fong (fifth person from left).
Hiram Fong was the Republican United States Senator from Hawaii from 1959 to 1977. He is known for being the first Asian American and Chinese American to be elected to the U. S. Senate.
