Engraved title page from Joannes Jonstonus' Histoirae naturalis de quadrupetibus, published in Frankfurt am Main by the Heirs of Matthaeus Merian in 1650. Depicts two centaurs standing in an archway, and holding a lion's skin on which the title is printed. In the background an elephant, lion and ostrich can be seen.
