Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated December 24, 1962 reads, "Members of the Deacons, La Tuna Canyon car club, decided at their last meeting they would like to do something for Christmas. So they did, by contacting the PTA at Polytechnic High School. which gave them the name of a needy family in Pacoima. The Deacons each contributed food and money and presented the family with these canned goods and a Christmas tree and turkey. In the past the Deacons have contributed to the Community Chest and done election precinct work."
