So they did, by contacting the PTA at Polytechnic High School. which gave them the name of a needy family in Pacoima. The Deacons each contributed food and money and presented the family with these canned goods and a Christmas tree and turkey. In the past the Deacons have contributed to the Community Chest and done election precinct work."
