Description: Photograph of the Biltmore Hotel on Pershing Square, Los Angeles. "This is Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel, which will serve as the headquarters for the Democratic National Convention beginning July 11. The The West's largest hotel, it will house major press facilities in two ballrooms and more than 100,000 square feet of public space has been set aside for press and candidates' headquarters. Built in 1923, the Biltmore has 1,500 rooms and is 14 stories high" -- typed note attached to verso. Verso dated, "July 17, 1960".
