Description
Virginia Hamilton Adair (1913-2004) was a noted poet who taught English at Cal Poly Pomona from 1957-1979. Adair was one of the first female faculty members at Pomona and she recounts her early days at the campus, including the introduction of women students in 1961 and the launch of the student literary publication Tuesday at 11:00. She also describes how the campus horse show ring would be repurposed as an auditorium with the addition of a horse-drawn platform with podium.
