1989-1273. In: [Scenes of Sacramento] [manuscript] / Eugene Walter Hepting. [Sacramento, Calif. : E. Hepting, 1938?], Vol. C, leaf 33. At left edge are trees with the top of a sign "ARK" in the corner;on the right is a shed-sized building with a sign above "Office" and in front of a window a large sign "PARK"; to the left is the back of a two floor structure with windows on 2nd floor; two model t's are parked in front of this structure; behind the "PARK" shed on the right a large building looms behind. Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento. "Rear of A.A. VanVoorhies collar-shop.Residence of J.F. Drehman from 1853 to 1870.'121' I street. Was used as a school-house in the 60's."
