Description
Photograph caption dated November 21, 1962 reads "A funny thing happened to San Francisco 49er fullback Bobby Gaiters on his way to a touchdown last Sunday at the Coliseum. There he was, running along, minding his own business, and suddenly there was another hand on his ball. Luckily for Los Angeles fans, the other one belonged to Ram defensive back Carver Shannon. Gaiters never did get that touchdown, but Valley Times TODAY photographer Alan Hyde got one of the most unusual pictures of this football season."
