Description
Shown is a 1914 painted postcard of the Forum Building, located on the southeast corner of Ninth and K Streets. Erected in 1911, the building was designed by architect Rudolph A. Herold, who had previously designed Sacramento City Hall. As pictured on the postcard, the floor space was occupied by the Owl Drug Company while the other floors were comprised of office space for a variety of companies. It would eventually be remodeled and expanded into a ten-story building.
