Photograph of an interior view of an American Expeditionary Force mess hall, ca.1915. The hall is a long wooden structure with three long tables running the length of it. There are many uniformed soldiers seated and standing around the table at center, looking at the camera. Square windows line the sides of the building, and there is a stove with a pipe reaching to the ceiling in the foreground at right. There are electric lights hung from the ceiling and decorated with American flags.
