Description
This sketch shows Rio Linda Junior High School, designed by Sacramento-based architect Leonard F. Starks. Opened in 1951, the school was part of a 3.4 million dollar building program within the Grant Union School District. The 26-unit structure included classrooms, special rooms, administrative offices, and sections for home economics, general science, art, shops, and physical education. The school sat at Tenth Avenue and G Street.
