Photograph caption dated July 20, 1962 reads, "Miss Pat Farnell from Reseda assures the Valley Times TODAY that even the Department of Internal Revenue will be well represented Aug. 5 at the San Fernando Valley Day doubleheader with the league leading Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs. Miss Farnell who works at the main office in Los Angeles said that many of her fellow employes [sic] at the tax collecting agency are planning to take advantage of the special '2-for-1' ticket bargain, with their families and dates. The Valley Times TODAY is furnishing free adjoining seats with every ticket purchased for this big event, with seats available in both the reserved and box sections. Ticket accommodation are available for large groups and couples planning to get out and get together with friends and neighbors on this lucrative deal to see the Dodgers."
