Photograph of a view of a pipeline on the Los Angeles Aqueduct, [s.d.]. The pipeline zigzags from the foreground at left to the background at right. The pipe is entirely above ground, and is held there by concrete girders. The land around the pipe is covered with bare dirt, while an assortment of small bushes and trees can be seen on the mountains in the background. The pipe brought water across the Sierra Nevada, a distance of about two hundred fifty miles.
