Annotation translation: "A house-servant walking on stilts in Pudjun. This is an ancient custom, not one brought here from Europe. Analogical magic to promote the growth of the rice - the plants should be as tall as this figure."
Annotation: "Stelzenlaufender Hausbube i. Pudjun. Uralter Brauch, nicht v. Europa übernommen. Analogiezauber z. Befördern des Wachstums der Reispflanzen, so hoch sollen sie werden."
