Description
Photograph of a view of the northwest corner of Fifth Street and Flower Street, April 1927. Several groups of people are gathered around a collection of chairs and a sun umbrella in front of a one-story craftsman-style house with clapboard siding. Several other pedestrians wait on the corner to the right, where several automobiles are parked near a sign that reads "Auto Park Expert Steam Cleaning". Across the street farther right, a larger, electric sign for the auto park stands in front of a long house that is also sided with clapboard. Utility poles, a traffic signal which reads "Go", and a streetlamp stand along the sidewalk. The street is paved and shows streetcar tracks. A high rise building is partially visible in the left background displaying a sign which reads, "[...]er Apartments".
