Entrance to the Beverly Hills Hotel today, at a point where a new wing was added in the 1940's. Six full-time gardners keep the grounds in immaculate condition. Palm trees decorate both sides of the road leading to the entrance of the hotel on Crescent Drive and Sunset Boulevard. Directly behind the hotel sits the huge mansion of late newpaper mogul William Randolph Hearst.
