Description
Group picture of Ifako villagers grouped outside the first church to be built there. The church has a thatched roof and plaster walls.
Ifako is located in later day Nigeria. The first Okoyong church was built at Ifako and was designed by Mary Slessor. The chiefs promised that this church would be a sanctuary of refuge and that no weapon would be carried into it.
