Description
Deep, indigo blue fabric used for a Mien woman's turban. The fabric which is used to create the turban is decorated at each end with purple, yellow, green, and white grid stitch embroidered motifs of stars and som. The turban fabric is folded in half in the image; only one embroidered end is visible.
Textile identified by the SEACRCC as being created by KoyChoy SaeLee, in Fakani, Laos.
