Description
Image of a map of railroad routes and stations in the Mid West, Great Lakes Region, and the Southern United States; map verso contains multiple advertisements with eight vignettes including images of a horse-drawn farming machine and man in a field for the Chicago Scraper & Ditcher Company, images of fire extinguishers and engines for the Babcock Fire Extinguisher, including a view of a man in a parlor fighting a fire with an extinguisher attached to his back; an egg crate for the Union Egg Carrier Company, and a view of a wilderness area with a person walking on a path, with an ivy decoration for Rand McNally and Co.
Lower left corner of map missing. "Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1871, / by Gaylor Watson, / In the Office of the Librarian of Congress, at Washington."--text, upper right corner of map. "[text missing] [Pub]lisher, 16 Beekman Street, New York. Chicago Agency, 66 Lake Street, D. Needham, Manager.
