Description
As taken from the newly-built California fruit Building, this 1922 postcard, shows several notable structures along Sacramento's skyline. They include, left to right: the Sacramento County Superior Court Building at Seventh and I Streets, Sacramento City Hall at Ninth and I Streets, the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament at Eleventh and K Streets, and the California State Capitol building at Tenth and M Streets. In the foreground, street cars blaze their way down J Street while the Travelers Hotel, at Fourth and J and opened in 1914, belches steam from its rooftop.
