Description
Paul Scott and Flossie Jo Burson hold up the 1950 Lancaster Library dedication plaque at the Library entrance on Fig Avenue while Melvin McCartney works on the removal site. The Library was relocated that year to a new location on Kingtree Avenue and Avenue J. On back of photo: "#27200, 1964, Paul Scott, Reg. Librarian, Miss Flossie Jo Burson, Melvin McCartney, Lancaster Library". The Lancaster Library was also known as the Antelope Valley Regional Library.
