An intricate network of pipes and scrubbers sit outside the compressor plant, some lying horizontally at center, others standing vertical to the right. A series of pipes streams from the plant to a point at right, unseen in the picture. The plant stands at left, strewn with lights above ventilation vents atop a series of windows. The background is neutral. Note from photoprint: "This plant is the main entry point for gas from Texas and New Mexico coming into the two southern pipelines operated by Southern Counties and Southern California Gas Cos. and serving Southern California area".
