Description
The original Santa Fe train station in Claremont from the south. Men are waiting in groups by the station building and the railroad tracks and luggage and crates are loaded on carts under the station eaves. Outside the ticket office are signs saying, "Western Union Telegraph Office" and "Wells Fargo Express." Power poles stand on either side of the station. A small rose garden and a group of pepper and eucalyptus trees are visible on the left.
