Image shows front view of the Mr. & Mrs. George Brooks Snelgrove residence, located on Via Anita on lot 14, block 1702, tract 6882 in Malaga Cove. George Snelgrove was the building commissioner for Palos Verdes Homes Association, appointed in 1925. View looking south shows the single-story, seven-room stucco house with two-car attached garage, handmade mission-style tile roof and chimney. French doors open out to a balcony with wrought-iron grill above the garage. A stone retaining wall is being constructed along edge of front yard, with a stone stairway leading up to the entranceway. A grove of eucalyptus trees is visible in background. The home was later owned [?] by Omar Holliday (by 1930).
