Ingeborg Børresen on her Wedding day with Halfdan Bahr, 8th January 1887. They settled in Darjeeling, but moved to Grahampur from 1889. Here Halfdan Bahr served as administrative manager of the Assam Colony until his death I 1896. The family had three children, Erling, Ingolf and Signe. The boys grew up in Norway from 1895. After the death of Halfdan Bahr Ingeborg went back to her family in Benagaria. In 1897 she married (and was later divorced from) Paul Olaf Bodding.
