Description
Bigelow Avenue looking toward Mt. Tamalpais. Photo taken on Bigelow between Lincoln and Hillside Avenues in 1907. Homes left to right are 52 Bigelow, 38 Bigelow and 25 Coronet Avenue. As of 2016, all three homes are still standing, though they have been extensively remodeled. Current street names and addresses are used. The man with the dog appears in several postcards apparently by the same photographer. Card is addressed by the sender to "Mr. T. K. Williams, 521 N. Stanislaus St., Stockton, San Joaquin Co., Cal." with message "My Dear Son. We go to the City to-morrow. I hope it won't be long before I come home. Love to all from Mama." Postmark is not legible but card is dated "Mill Valley Aug - 7 - 1911" Description provided by Phil Rhodes.
