A Mayan woman and a girl walk in the refugee camp of Benito Juárez, Chiapas. On September 29 of 1982, more than one hundred armed Guatemalans had taken control of a small village nearby and a Guatemalan paramilitary unit kidnapped two Guatemalans in Benito Juárez. Their mutilated bodies were later found in a river. Una mujer maya y una niña caminan en el campamento de refugiados de Benito Juárez, Chiapas. El 29 de septiembre de 1982, más de cien guatemaltecos armados tomaron el control de un pequeño pueblo cercano y una unidad paramilitar guatemalteca secuestró a dos guatemaltecos en Benito Juárez.
