Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated January 5, 1956 reads, "Planes form interesting pattern at Whiteman Air Park, located off San Fernando road, in Pacoima. Valley's smallest airport, Whiteman is operated by W.H. Coffin Air Service, and is used for motion picture work, flight training, and building of special aircraft for movies. Whiteman is also used extensively as parking facility and many Valley firms base their executive planes there."; See images #00144270 through #00144275 for all photos in this series.
