Photograph of a crowd watching the completion of a new oil well, ca.1930. The large crowd is gathered at the base of the well and is looking towards it. Most of the people are men and are wearing suits and hats, although there are several women and young children as well. A completed well can be seen in the background at right, while an oil and gas separator is visible at left. Several large pipes are stacked in the foreground at left.
