This is a video recording of two presentations moderated by Andrew Horowitz. The first presentation is by Barbara Freeman, about Digital Directions International’s HELP program, which aims to “develop math literacy, skills, and confidence by removing technical language barriers.” The second presentation is by Cay Garry, about the Minnesota Valley Action Council’s Wheel Get There program, recipient of the 2004 Peter F. Drucker Award for Nonprofit Innovation. Garry outlines the mission of the program, which is to provide transportation for people with low incomes so that they can reliably get to work. Question and answer sessions follow both presentations.
