Description
Ancient trees, once part of the Dodge House landscape, make way for a future hotel complex. Built in 1916, the Dodge House was judged one of the 15 most architecturally significant residences in the United States. It's reign of beauty ended, however, as wrecking crews demolished the historic structure. Partial ruins of the home may be seen in the background. Photograph dated February 10, 1970.
