Description: Photograph caption dated July 22, 1957 reads "Scowling soap box of Roland Hartley, 12, who holds trophy with father Leo Hartley, 137 N. Lincoln St., Burbank, rolled to second in the Los Angeles Soap Box Derby run. Roland built car, named 'Green Monster,' in seven months. It was sponsored by Management Club of Lockheed."
