Photograph of people on stage coach in front of post office in Red Mountain, Colorado, 1890. This post office was said to be the highest regular post office in the United States, at 11,300 feet elevation. Four men and a woman sit on the top side of the coach. Four horses are hitched to the stage. Several men stand near the buildings in the background looking onward. Pine trees cover the mountains in the background. A "Post Office" sign is displayed on the building at left.
