Description: A view of the Statue of the Republic at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The 65-foot-high statue is mounted on a pedestal in the center of the Grand Basin with the Casino and a colonnade in the background, both with numerous smaller statues along their roofs. A small boat is approaching the statue on the right.
"80" written in white near the top edge. Date supplied by cataloger, based on the year of the Exposition. One of forty-eight glass plate negatives originally housed together with a note by Latta: "Frank Robinson Merced Area Misc. Unidentified."
